Down here at the Bhandup Industrial Estate, things stay pretty busy. We are tucked away on the ground floor of the A-9 building in the Pannalal Compound. If you know the LBS Marg area in Bhandup West, you know it can get crowded. Our space at Crystal Specialty Tapes Pvt. Ltd. is mostly filled with rolls of different kinds of tape. It’s funny how many types there actually are once you start looking into it. We spend our hours making sure the adhesive is right and the rolls are cut to the sizes people need. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially with the machines running and the trucks coming in and out of the compound all day long. Some days the humidity makes things a bit tricky with the glue, but we’ve figured out how to handle that over the years. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation; we're just a team of people who know how to make tape that actually sticks. Most of our day is spent checking the machines or packing boxes to go out. It gets hot in the warehouse during the summer months, but we just get on with it. We’ve been in Bhandup for a good bit now and the neighbors in the industrial estate are mostly decent folks just trying to run their own shops too. We keep the rolls moving.
