Amar Tej Pattern Works

Amar Tej Pattern Works is here in Yonus Compound. It’s right near that Jagruti Ration Shop in Hanuman Nagar. If you know Bhandup West, you know it gets crowded. We’ve been here for a bit now. Making patterns isn't the cleanest job in the world, but it’s what we do every day. The workshop is usually a bit loud because of the machines running, and there is always dust around. People come in with drawings or sometimes just an old part they need a new pattern for. We just sit down, look at what’s needed, and start working. Sometimes things get delayed because the materials don’t show up on time, but that is how it goes around here. We aren't a big factory or anything fancy. It’s just us working on P.N. Road. Most of our neighbors are small shops too. You walk past the ration shop and you will hear us before you see us. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty on paper. We just focus on the wood or the metal in front of us. It’s hard work, especially when it gets hot in the afternoon. But we’ve got a good routine going. If someone needs a pattern made, they just drop by the compound and talk to us. We try to get it done right so they don't have to come back twice. That's pretty much the whole story of how we run things here.
