Bhairuji Electronics

We’re located over at 68 Kika Street, up on the first floor in Gulalwadi. It’s a busy area, so you have to keep your eyes open to find the entrance among all the other shops. The building is older, and the stairs are a bit steep, which we definitely feel in our legs by the end of the day. Once you get inside, it’s a bit of a different world from the street noise and traffic outside. The shop is called Bhairuji Electronics. We’ve got our workstations set up with all sorts of tools and spare parts scattered around. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is kept. There are only a few of us working here, so it’s usually pretty quiet unless someone has the radio on in the background. We’ve been in Gulalwadi for a good while and have seen the shops around us change hands many times over the years. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the repairs and assemblies on our desks. Sometimes we go downstairs to the street for a quick break or to talk to the neighbors about the weather. The lighting isn't the best, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see the tiny parts we’re working on. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished website. Most of the folks who drop by are regulars from the neighborhood or local contractors. It’s a simple, honest setup for us.
