Best Buys Impex is based on the third floor of the Sukh Sagar building. We are right on N.S. Patkar Marg, which is a busy spot near Churni Road. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, but it also means we hear the trains and the cars all day long. The office is room 305. It’s a fairly simple space with some desks, a few filing cabinets, and a whole lot of samples scattered around. We spend most of our time dealing with shipments and checking on paperwork. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve got a small group of people here who have worked together for years, so we all know how to stay out of each other's way. The building is older, so the plumbing is a bit finicky, and we have to remind everyone not to leave the taps running. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just handle the imports and exports as they come in. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at the desks while we chat about whatever happened on the news. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We don't really bother with big meetings unless something goes wrong. Mostly, we just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks. It's just work.
