Our place is at 428 on the 7th Cross, just off the 2nd Main road here in Charni Road. It’s a busy area for car stuff. You can usually find me surrounded by floor mats, seat covers, and different types of bulbs for headlights. The shop isn't very large, so we have boxes stacked almost to the ceiling. It can get a bit greasy because we're always handling parts and helping people figure out what fits their vehicle. I’ve been working with cars for a long time. It’s not a clean job. My fingernails usually have a bit of dirt under them no matter how much I scrub. People come in looking for specific things to make their ride more comfortable or just to replace something that broke. We have a lot of plastic items and chrome bits sitting in the display window, though the sun has faded some of the packaging over the years. It’s a lot of talking to drivers and mechanics who are looking for a deal. Sometimes the street outside gets so jammed with traffic that nobody can move, so I just sit on my stool and wait for things to clear up. We aren't a big showroom with air conditioning. It’s just a shop with a lot of parts and a bit of dust. I know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. It's how we've always run things here since we started.
