Our office is based in Andheri East, right near Marol Naka. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how hectic it can be with the metro and the constant flow of people. We’ve been working from here for a good while. At Bectochem Loedige, we focus on process technology. It sounds complicated, and sometimes it really is. Most of our days are spent looking at technical drawings or talking to engineers about how to make things work better. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place for us to get our heads down and work. We have a lot of meetings, usually over coffee that someone grabbed from the stall downstairs. The humidity in Andheri can be a bit much, but the air conditioning mostly keeps up. We deal with a lot of industrial clients who need specific solutions for their plants. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We aren't interested in making things sound more impressive than they are. We just want the machines to do what they are supposed to do. There’s usually a bit of a mess with blueprints and specs on the tables. Marol Naka is a good spot for us because it’s easy for people to reach us by the train. We just keep our heads down, do the engineering work, and try to keep things moving forward without too much fuss. It's a busy life here in Mumbai and we just stick to it.
