You can find us at 80/82 Nagdevi Street, up on the second floor. If you’ve ever been to Nagdevi Street, you know it’s one of the busiest places around. There are shops everywhere and people moving boxes all day long. Bearing Traders (I) has been in this building for a long time. We deal mostly in bearings, as the name suggests. Our space is filled with shelves from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it feels like we’re living in a maze of cardboard boxes. We have all kinds of sizes and types stacked up. It’s a bit cramped, but we know exactly where everything is. The stairs up to the second floor are narrow, so we have to be careful when we’re carrying stock. We don’t have a big sales team. Usually, it’s just a couple of us answering the phones and helping whoever walks through the door. It gets noisy with the street sounds coming through the windows, but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time checking part numbers and verifying sizes. It’s precise work, even if the office looks a bit cluttered. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit in Mumbai, just a place where you can actually find what you need. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders.
