We run Bearing Traders out of two very busy spots. The main office is tucked away in Gali Khal Beg Farash Khana on G.B Road in Delhi. If you’ve ever been down that way, you know it’s a maze of shops and people pushing carts full of metal. It’s loud, crowded, and there is always something happening. Then we have the other place in Mumbai on Nagdevi Street, up on the second floor. Both locations are right in the thick of the trading hubs. We handle bearings all day long. Small ones, big ones, things you’ve never even heard of. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of, and sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks. We aren't trying to be a big corporate entity with a glass building. We like being where the action is, right in the markets where people actually buy and sell things. The guys in the Delhi office spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. Mumbai is much the same, just with a different kind of humidity. We’ve been doing this for quite a while now. We know the brands and the sizes by heart. It’s just us, some heavy shelves, and a lot of steel parts. We don't have a PR person. This is just a place where we trade bearings and try to keep everything organized in the middle of all the city noise. Most days are long, but we get things done.
