We have been here at the National Insurance Building for quite a while now. If you know D N Road in Fort, you know how busy it gets every single day. Our office is on the second floor in room 204. It’s an old building with a lot of character, and the halls always have that specific smell of old paper and city dust. We usually start the day early before the traffic outside really kicks in near the New Excelsior Cinema. People come and go throughout the day, mostly locals or folks who work in the surrounding banks nearby. It isn't fancy here. We have our desks, the ceiling fans hum along, and we just get on with the work that needs doing. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but that is just part of being in this area of Mumbai. Most of us take our lunch breaks quickly, maybe grabbing something small from the street vendors or just eating at the desks while looking at the piles of files. We don’t have any big corporate slogans or anything like that. We just open the doors, answer the phones, and try to keep things organized. Usually, the afternoons are the busiest when the sun is hitting the building and everyone is trying to finish their tasks before the evening rush. It is a steady place to work, and we like being in this part of town.
