Barewell Traders

If you find yourself on Nagdevi Street, you will notice how every single building is packed with different shops. We are situated at No. 94, and you have to head up to the second floor to find us. The stairs are a bit narrow and old, which is typical for this part of the city. We have been here for quite some time, and we have seen many neighbors come and go over the years. Our space is filled with inventory and ledgers, mostly because we prefer to keep a physical record of things. It can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of stock coming in at once, but we have a system for where everything goes. The light in the office isn't the best during the rainy season, but we have enough lamps to keep us going. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. It’s not a corporate environment by any means. It’s just a place where we sit, talk to our suppliers on the phone, and make sure orders are being processed. Sometimes the building gets a bit warm in the summer, but the ceiling fans do a decent job of keeping the air moving. Most of our visitors are people we have known for years. We don't really do much to change the decor or anything like that because we are more concerned with getting the daily chores finished and keeping things moving.
