Bang Polypacks

Our place is on the first floor of Mistry Building. If you know Dhobi Talao, you know how crowded J.S.S. Road gets during the day. We’ve been operating from number 635 for a long time. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We make polypacks and handle a lot of orders for local shops and businesses around Mumbai. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s where we do our work. You have to climb the stairs to get to us. Usually, there’s noise from the street coming through the windows, but we don't really mind. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the plastic is the right thickness for whatever the customer needs. It’s a small team here. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get things done. We just handle the machines and the packing. Sometimes things get a bit messy with all the material lying around, but we clear it up by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job so people keep coming back. It’s hard work, especially when the weather gets hot and sticky, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We just keep the wheels turning day after day and make sure the deliveries go out on time to the shops.
