Manju Print

We spend our days over here at Dimond House, which is right near the Rajpal Gas Circle in Bandra West. If you know the area, you know it’s always moving. The shop is usually filled with the sound of the machines running. Manju Print has a lot going on most of the time. We get a lot of people dropping in because we're so close to the circle. It’s a good spot to be. The heat in Bandra can get a bit much in the middle of the day, so we keep the fans going full blast. Working at Dimond House has its quirks, like the way the light comes through the front window in the morning. We have stacks of paper and ink canisters sitting around because that’s just the nature of the work. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where we actually get things done. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the street for a minute, but that’s just Bandra West for you. We’ve grown used to the noise from the traffic near Rajpal Gas Circle. It becomes like background music after a while. Most of us have been working here together for a long time, so we have a rhythm. We just show up, do the printing, and head home when the job is finished. It’s simple and we like it that way. There is always a lot to do, but we take it one stack at a time.
