You’ll find us on the first floor of the Mac Ronells building in Bandra West. We are right above Candies restaurant, so the smell of food is always drifting up our way. The space at 5A is where we put everything together. It’s not a traditional shop where you walk in and see rows of stuff; it’s more of a workspace. We spend a lot of time with stems and shears, making sure things look right. Bandra is a busy place, and being above such a popular restaurant means there’s always a crowd downstairs. Up here, it’s a bit different, focused on the work at hand. We’ve got buckets and ribbons everywhere, and the floors usually have some leaves on them by the end of the day. It’s a hands-on job and we don’t mind getting a bit messy. We aren’t a big corporate business with a call center or anything like that. It’s just us working with what we have. People usually find us because they’ve heard about what we do from someone else. We don’t put a lot of effort into sounding professional or polished. We just like what we do and we do it in this little corner of Mac Ronells. It’s a nice spot to spend the day, even if it gets a bit chaotic when we have a big project going on. We just keep the windows open and listen to the street noise.
