Deutsche Bank Ag

I work over at Deutsche Bank Ag, specifically up on the 15th floor of The Capital building. If you've ever been to the Bandra Kurla Complex, you know how hectic it gets around here. Our spot is at C-70 in the G Block. It’s a tall glass building, and the view from the 15th floor is actually pretty decent on days when it’s not too hazy. We’ve been here since the building opened up basically. Working in a big bank like this means there is always something going on. It’s mostly paperwork, computers, and meetings about numbers. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; we just handle the banking side of things for people and companies. The commute to BKC can be a real headache sometimes, especially during the monsoon, but once you're inside the air conditioning, it’s not so bad. We share the floor with a lot of different departments. Everyone just kind of stays busy. It isn't like the movies with people shouting on phones; it’s actually quite quiet most of the time. We go down to the cafeteria for coffee or sometimes walk out to find a sandwich nearby if we have time. It’s a regular office job in a very busy part of the city. We’ve stayed in this location because it makes sense for the business and where our clients are. Most days are just about getting through the tasks on the screen.
