You can find us at the Karachiwala Building on Mody Street, right in the heart of the Fort area. It is one of those old buildings with high ceilings and heavy wooden doors that have been there forever. We focus on exporting goods, which means our office is usually full of samples, crates, and shipping documents. Mody Street is always crowded with people and vehicles, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a challenge. We spend a lot of time talking to customs agents and coordinating with the docks. The office itself is a bit cluttered; we have stacks of papers on almost every surface and maps pinned to the walls. It feels like a lived-in space because we are here more than we are at home sometimes. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone making fancy presentations. We just know how to get products from one country to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones act up, but we have learned to deal with the quirks of working in an old district like Fort. There is a certain rhythm to the day here, starting early before the heat gets too bad and staying late to finish the logs. We mostly just stick to our tasks and make sure our clients get what they asked for. It is a simple way to run a business.
