Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd.

We are located at Plot No. 5 on J.N. Heredia Marg. This is the office for Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has that specific feel to it. There’s a lot of history in these walls, even if we don’t talk about it much during the workday. We deal with a lot of different things here, from logistics to manufacturing containers and barrels. The hallways are a bit narrow and the desks are pushed close together to fit everyone in. You can hear the sounds of the street outside—horns honking and people shouting—but it becomes background noise after a while. We have a lot of paperwork to get through every single day. It’s a lot of tracking shipments and making sure the numbers match up in the ledgers. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow or moody, so we end up taking the stairs to save time. We have a mix of younger staff and people who have been here for thirty years. It’s a strange blend of the old way of doing things and the new systems we have to use now. Lunch is usually a quick affair, maybe something from the local vendors nearby who know our orders by heart. It’s a solid place to work, and we just get on with our tasks without making much of a fuss. The location is good, even if the traffic on Heredia Marg is a nightmare in the evenings.
