Balaji Tools Corporation

Balaji Tools Corporation is situated at 67 Nagdevi Street, right on the 2nd Floor. If you know the Masjid Bunder area, you know how incredibly crowded it can get. Nagdevi Street is famous for hardware and tools, so we are right in the thick of it. To get to us, you have to navigate through the sea of people, handcarts, and delivery bikes on Md. Ali Road. The stairs up to the second floor are narrow and a bit steep, but they lead to our workspace where we keep all our inventory. The rooms are filled to the ceiling with boxes of tools and equipment. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where everything is located. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of metal and grease, which is typical for this street. We don't have much in the way of air conditioning, so the ceiling fans are always spinning at full speed. It’s noisy outside with the constant honking and shouting of the market, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend most of our time counting stock, answering inquiries, and packing orders for customers who come from all over the city. It’s a traditional way of doing business, face-to-face and very busy. There’s no corporate fluff here; it’s just hard work in a very crowded part of Mumbai. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else, even with the chaos.
