BALAJI PACKAGINGS

Out in the MIDC area of Digha, off TB Road in Navi Mumbai, you’ll find our unit. BALAJI PACKAGINGS is located at B-5, and it’s a typical industrial setup. The whole area is full of warehouses and small factories, so there’s always a lot of noise and movement. We deal with boxes and wrapping materials mostly. If you come inside, you’ll see stacks of cardboard and rolls of plastic everywhere. It is a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The humidity in Thane can be pretty rough, especially in the monsoon, so we have to be careful about how we store the paper products. We don't have any shiny brochures or a big sales team. Usually, we just talk to the other factory owners nearby who need stuff to pack their goods in. We’ve been here long enough that most people just know our name. The work is repetitive, running the machines and cutting the sheets to size, but it’s what we do. We don't make any big promises about changing the world. We just try to make sure that when someone buys a box from us, it actually holds together. It’s basic work, but it’s necessary for all the other businesses around here to function properly. We have a couple of trucks that go out every morning to deliver what we finished the day before. It keeps us moving and makes the days go by fast.
