We are located at P.M. Tandel Wada in the Chendani Koliwada area. If you know Thane East, you know it's a bit of a maze around M.B. Road. We’ve been acting as shipping agents here for a good while. Dealing with the customs house stuff can be a real headache, so that’s basically what we do all day. We handle the paperwork and the clearance so people don't have to worry about the port rules. It’s a busy life here in Maharashtra. The docks are never really quiet. Our office is right in the heart of the old Koliwada section. It’s got that local feel, where everyone knows each other. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and makes things slow down, but we keep pushing through the files. We don’t have any flashy advertisements. Most of our work comes from people just knowing we’re here on M.B. Road. It’s a lot of back and forth with the shipping lines. My desk is usually covered in forms and stamps. We try to keep things moving as fast as the system allows. It’s honest work. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in India, just a group that does what it says for the folks who come to us in Thane. It’s just us and the shipping documents, day in and day out. Sometimes the tea boy forgets our order, but we don't mind too much. It's just a regular office life for us.
