Bajaj International Pvt. Ltd. is based at Bajaj Bhavan on the 2nd floor. The address is 226 Nariman Point along Jamnalal Bajaj Marg. This part of the city is always busy with people in formal clothes rushing to their offices. Our floor is usually a hive of activity with the sound of keyboards clicking and printers going off. Since we are in Nariman Point, the building is quite large and has a lot of different offices sharing the same elevators. We spend most of our day sitting at our workstations, which are partitioned off with those grey fabric walls. There’s a small break room where we keep a fridge and a microwave, and that’s usually where the best conversations happen during lunch. The view from some of the windows shows the other big buildings in the area, and sometimes you can catch a glimpse of the sea if the weather is clear. We have a lot of files stored in boxes because we haven't quite gone fully digital yet, so there’s always a bit of a paper trail. The lighting is that standard fluorescent white that can get a bit tiring by five in the afternoon. People here have been working together for a long time, so there’s a lot of familiarity and casual talk between the tasks. It’s a professional enough environment but without any of that stiff, corporate pretense.
