Bajaj Creation

Getting to 58, 2nd Bhoiwada involves navigating through Road No. 6, which is always a bit of a challenge. We are up on the 1st Floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street life below, though it is mostly just trucks unloading and people rushing around. Bajaj Creation is a busy place, but not in a fancy corporate way. It is more about piles of fabric or whatever project is currently taking up the floor space. The stairs are narrow, so moving things in and out takes a bit of planning and sometimes a lot of shouting to make sure the way is clear. The air in here always smells slightly of starch and old paper. We have a few big windows, but they are mostly blocked by shelves. The lighting is okay, but we usually have an extra lamp or two at the workstations because the shadows can be tricky in the afternoon. People come and go all day, mostly locals or delivery guys who know the shortcut through the alley. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. The walls are covered in calendars and old notes taped up so we don't forget things. It is a loud, messy, and very real environment. We just try to keep the machines running and the orders moving out the door before the sun goes down. There isn't much more to it than that.
