Babychakra

Babychakra is located right in the heart of Mumbai’s financial district, up on the 18th floor of the Bombay Stock Exchange building in Fort. It’s a bit of an iconic spot to be in, though working on the 18th floor means we spend a fair amount of time waiting for the elevators along with everyone else in the building. The view is interesting, but we are mostly looking at our desks and trying to get through the day's tasks. Fort is a busy area with a lot of history, and being in the BSE building definitely gives a certain feel to the workday. You have the 400001 zip code, which is about as central as it gets in this city. It’s a lot different from the quieter suburbs. We don’t have a shop front or anything, just our office space where the team sits. Outside, the streets are full of people in suits, street food vendors, and old architecture. It’s a fast-paced environment, and we just fit into one of the many floors of this massive building. There’s no big sign outside, just the name on the directory. We do our work, talk to the people we need to talk to, and then head back down into the Fort crowds at the end of the day. It's a professional space but we keep things pretty grounded inside the office walls.
