Baby Cakes

Baby Cakes is tucked away in Walkeshwar, specifically at Bhumi Park Phase 1, units 24/25. This is a bit of a different vibe compared to the busier parts of Mumbai. Walkeshwar has that old-school, slightly quieter feel, though it’s still right in the city. Being in Bhumi Park means we are mostly dealing with the people who live nearby in the apartments. We’ve got a small space, but it fits everything we need to get the baking done. Most mornings start with the smell of the ovens warming up while the rest of the neighborhood is still waking up. It’s a nice way to start the day. We aren't a big commercial factory or anything like that. It’s just a small team here at 24/25. We spend a lot of time tucked away in the back working on the cakes. Sometimes people wander in while they’re out for a walk in Phase 1. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make cakes and hope people like them. The address is pretty straightforward if you know the Walkeshwar area. It’s a bit more relaxed here than the main roads. We like the pace of life in this corner of the city. It lets us focus on the work without too much outside noise. We’ve been at Bhumi Park for a while and the locals seem to know where to find us when they need something sweet for a celebration or just a snack.
