Vrandavan Society is a big residential complex, and we are just one part of it. Being in a residential building means we see kids playing and people walking their dogs while we are trying to clear shipments and manage carriers. It’s a bit of an unconventional office, but it works for us. We’ve been at this for years. The office is filled with the sound of phones ringing and printers going off. Since we deal with clearing and carrying, there’s always some urgency with paperwork. Mumbai life is fast, and we are right in the thick of it. The rooms in the flat are converted into cabins and workstations. It’s tight, but we make it work. We usually have lunch together in the small kitchen area.
