B. Sheth & Co.

B. Sheth & Co. is located at No. 282, Abdul Rehman Street. We are on the second floor of the Agbuatwala Building. If you’ve ever been to Abdul Rehman Street, you know how incredibly crowded it gets. There are people and carts everywhere, and the noise is constant. Getting up to our office on the second floor can be a bit of a struggle when the stairs are busy. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, or at least that’s one way to put it. Our office is filled with ledgers and samples and all kinds of things we’ve collected over the years. It’s not the most modern space, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and customers who come in from the street. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, honestly. We don’t use a lot of fancy software; a lot of things are still written down in books. The fans on the ceiling hum all day to keep the air moving, which helps when it gets humid outside. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and have seen the street change quite a bit. It’s a busy, hectic life here, but we’re used to it. We just take each day as it comes and try to keep up with the orders that come through the door. Sometimes the lights flicker but they always stay on eventually.
