Started out in Andheri East near the Pushakar Banglo. The Nirjahar Co Op Society is a quiet enough place for what we do. We are at Paud Road A 25. Most days it’s just the sound of the machines and the guys talking over the noise. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s a workshop through and through. The floor has some oil stains and the desks are covered in blueprints and old tea mugs. People find us because they know the address, not because of a shiny billboard. We’ve been at this for a while now. The commute is a bit of a pain with the traffic around Andheri, but once you get inside the society gate, it settles down a bit. We handle a lot of industrial work here. It’s not glamorous. There is usually a truck parked out front loading or unloading something heavy. We make sure the gates are locked at night and do it all again the next morning. My uncle used to run things, now it’s just us. We keep the inventory in the back. It’s a bit cramped lately because we have so much stuff. We should probably organize the shelves better. But work keeps coming and we just keep moving. It’s a simple life. We don't have fancy titles or office parties. We just get the jobs done and go home to our families. That’s B M S Industries for you.
