B K Khare & Co is located right in Sharda Chambers at New Marine Lines, specifically in units 706 to 708. Working here in South Mumbai means we are always surrounded by the constant noise of the city and the nearby Churchgate station. The office isn't anything fancy or overly modern, just a practical space where we handle our daily tasks and manage a lot of paperwork. Some of the desks have been here for years and the shelves are usually overflowing with files that we need to sort through. We get started pretty early in the morning before the heat really picks up. The lift in this building can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so we often just wait it out or chat with the neighbors from other floors. Most of our day is spent at these desks, answering phones and looking over documents. It’s a very routine environment. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just a simple door with our name on it and a few rooms where the work happens. Sometimes you can hear the faint sound of the local trains if the windows are cracked open a bit. We drink a fair amount of tea throughout the afternoon to keep the energy up. It’s just a regular group of people doing their jobs in a busy part of Mumbai. That is really all there is to it at our office.
