A.V.Technologies

A.V.Technologies is located at 104 Aaditya Arcade on the first floor. We are right on Tribhuvan Road, near the old Dreamland Cinema. If you know Lamington Road, you know it’s the heart of the electronics market, and we are right there in the middle of it. It’s a noisy, crowded place but there’s a lot of energy. Our office is a bit small for all the parts and equipment we keep inside. We have shelves all the way up to the ceiling filled with bits and pieces. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. There are three of us here most days, and we spend a lot of time soldering or fixing things at the workbenches. The lighting could be better, but we have individual lamps that do the trick. We don’t really have a waiting room, so if you come by, you’ll probably just stand near the door while we finish what we’re doing. We get a lot of people wandering in thinking we’re a different shop because there are so many in this building. It’s a bit disorganized at times, with wires and tools everywhere, but we know where everything is. We take our tea breaks when the market outside gets too loud to think. It’s just how things are around here. We have a small table in the corner where we keep the shared tools and a very old coffee mug that nobody wants to wash. It’s a real working shop.
