Our office is on the ground floor of the Govind Building, right at 136 Princess Street. If you’ve ever been to Princess Street, you know it’s the heart of the trading district, and it’s always packed with people and handcarts. We’ve been here for quite a while, and the building itself has a lot of character. We deal with a lot of logistics and distribution from this spot. Space is at a premium, so our desks are pretty close together and there are boxes tucked into every corner. It’s a bit of a maze, but we have our own system for finding things. Most of the day is spent on the phone, coordinating with people at the docks or other traders nearby. It’s loud and there’s always someone coming in with a delivery or a question. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and you're right in the middle of the action. We try to keep things moving as quickly as possible because that’s just the pace of the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets overwhelming, but we’ve learned to handle the stress. We’re just a small team trying to keep the business running smoothly in a very busy part of town. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it by now. There is always a new challenge waiting every time we open the doors in the morning.
