Being based in Mumbai means everything is always moving fast. Our place, just called Aviation, isn’t some big airport terminal or a glass tower. It’s a regular office where we deal with the bits and pieces that keep things in the air. The traffic outside is constant, and you can always hear the horns honking from the street below. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking lists on the computer screen. It gets pretty humid here, so the fans are always spinning at top speed. We started out just handling a few small things and it grew into a full-time job for all of us. There isn't much to see if you visit, just desks piled with folders and some diagrams on the walls that have been there for years. We don't really do the fancy marketing stuff you see other companies doing. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time and just need something handled without any drama. Sometimes the rain during monsoon makes it hard to get to the office, but we usually manage to keep the lights on and the work moving. It’s a simple operation really, just a group of people in the middle of a busy city trying to keep up with the daily grind of the industry.
