Avi Global Plast

Our place is at Bhargava House, on Plot No. 49 in Andheri East. Anyone who knows Mumbai knows that Andheri East is always buzzing with people and cars. It can be a real headache to find a parking spot near our building, so most of us just take the train and walk. We work with plastics here. We have various molds and injection machines that run through the day. The smell of warm plastic is something you just stop noticing after the first week. We make things like containers and small parts for other companies. The office part of the building is pretty small and usually covered in samples and bits of plastic that we’re testing out. We have a small crew and we all know what needs to be done without being told too much. It’s not a very quiet office because of the factory noise next door, but we like it that way. It feels like things are actually getting made. When it rains during the monsoon, the sound on the roof is so loud you can barely hear the phone. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do our jobs and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a simple life.
