We are over at Avantek Unit No. 21/22 in the Majestic Building. It’s at 144 J.S.S Road in Girgaon. Girgaon is one of those old-school parts of town where everything is a bit cramped but full of life. The Majestic Building has been around for ages. Our units aren't huge, but they are enough for what Avantek Pvt. Ltd. does. We have our computers and our files, and not much else. The windows look out over the street, so we hear the honking and the people shouting all day. It keeps us awake and reminds us we are in the middle of everything. We don't have a fancy canteen; we just go down to the local stalls for a snack or some tea. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't use those corporate buzzwords because they don't mean much when you’re trying to finish a project on a deadline. The hallway in the building is a bit dim, but once you get into our unit, it’s all systems go. We’ve been at this J.S.S Road address for a while now. Everyone in the building knows each other. It’s more of a community than just a place of business. We do our thing, manage our clients, and try to make sure everything runs smoothly without any big drama. It’s just a normal office in a busy part of Mumbai.
