Auto-Tech Battery

Auto-Tech Battery is tucked away behind Mount Road at the Dharga area. Our actual address is 822/7, 8, and 9 on Anna Salai. It’s a busy part of the city, and being behind the main road means it’s a little less chaotic but still very active. We have a couple of interconnected rooms where we keep all the batteries. It smells a bit like lead and acid in there, but that’s just part of the job. We’ve been at this location on Anna Salai for quite a while. People usually find us by looking for the Dharga and then heading around the back. It isn't a shiny new store. The walls could use a bit of paint and the floor is stained from years of work. We don't have any air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that wobble a bit. We spend a lot of time lifting heavy stuff, so we’re all pretty tired by the end of the day. There is a tea stall just around the corner where we go when things get slow. We don't really have a boss who sits in a suit; we all just pitch in and get our hands dirty. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still right here in the same spot behind Mount Road. We just keep our heads down and get the batteries ready for whoever needs them.
