Auto Start Enterprises

Auto Start Enterprises is located at number 4 inside Jagmohan Mansion. We are right on 20, Avantikabai Gokhale Street, which is very close to the Opera House and Laxmi Baug Hall. It is a very busy part of the city, and finding a place to park a bike is usually a headache. The building itself is old, with high ceilings and walls that have seen a lot of history. We decided to stay here because it is where our regulars know to find us. Inside the shop, things can get a little disorganized when we are busy. We have shelves that go all the way to the top, and we usually need a ladder to reach the older stock. There is a constant noise from the street traffic outside, but it becomes like background music after a few years. Our staff is just a handful of people who know their way around an engine better than they know their own homes. We don't spend money on glossy advertisements or big signs. Most of our work comes from people walking in because they had a problem nearby. We have a small kettle in the back for making tea, which we do quite often. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from oil spills over the years. We don't try to hide any of that because it shows we are actually working. It is just a simple, honest place to get what you need.
