Aum Architects

The office is tucked away in Barakat Ali Nagar, right off Imax Road. It's at A 20. Most days we just spend our time at the drawing boards or on the computer, dealing with whatever comes through the door. The traffic on Imax Road can get pretty loud sometimes, but once you step inside Aum Architects, it settles down enough to actually think. We have been here for a while now. It is a practical space, nothing too fancy, just some desks and a lot of rolled-up plans everywhere. People usually find us by looking for the landmark nearby since the lanes can get a bit confusing for those who aren't from around here. We start pretty early in the morning. The tea stall nearby is where we get our morning start before heading up to the office. Being an architect means looking at a lot of paperwork and technical drawings, which is basically what fills our day at A 20. It gets dusty, and the shelves are overflowing with samples of tile and wood that we’ve collected over the months. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work somehow. It's just a normal workplace where the main focus is getting the drawings right and making sure the measurements actually fit the site. Not much else to say really, it is just us working away in Barakat Ali Nagar every day.
