Atul Projects India Ltd is located in Andheri, which is always a whirlwind of activity. There is constantly some kind of construction or road work happening right outside our doors, so the sound of drills and hammers is like background music to us. We have a lot of blueprints rolled up in the corners and stacks of site photos sitting on every flat surface. Our team is usually out on the field, so the office can feel a bit empty until everyone comes back in the evening with mud on their shoes. We spend hours debating over costs and looking at weather reports to see if we can get the concrete poured before it rains. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes things don't go according to plan, which can be frustrating for everyone involved. We don't have a fancy espresso machine, just a kettle and some instant coffee powder. The desks are covered in calculators and pens that don't always work. We are just a group of people who like to build things and see a project through to the end. It takes a long time to get anything done in this city, but we are used to the pace. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the permits and the materials we need for the next day.
