Atlas Shipping Services P. Ltd

Our office is over in Andheri West, specifically at Flat 13 in the You & I CHS. It's in the Model Town area near 4 Bungalows, so it is quite a central spot for anyone living in this part of Mumbai. We’ve been working out of this flat for a bit, handling shipping services. It’s a typical Mumbai apartment setup turned into a workspace. You can hear the city noise from the window, which is just part of the charm of working in 400 053. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at cargo schedules. Since we are a private limited company, we have some structure, but it still feels very much like a small local operation. There isn't any fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It is just us at our desks, surrounded by files and calendars. Shipping is a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing, so there is always a bit of energy in the room. We like being in Andheri because everything is close by, even if the traffic is a nightmare most afternoons. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just try to keep the shipments moving. If the paperwork is in order, things usually go fine. That is basically our life here in the apartment, just keeping the gears of shipping turning as best as we can in the middle of the city.
