If you know the area near J.J. Hospital, you probably know Nabiulla Road. Atlantic Trading Co. is right there in Sugra Manzil on the ground floor. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of noise and traffic. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. The building has that old Mumbai feel to it. Our space is at number 7. We spend most of our hours managing stock and talking to people who drop by. It gets crowded outside, especially in the afternoons. Inside, we just try to keep things moving. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just a counter and some shelves and the paperwork we need to finish. It’s a ground floor shop so it’s easy to find once you get off the main road. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy but we stay open. We deal with various goods and try to be fair with everyone who walks in. It is just a family-run kind of vibe here. No one wears suits. We just wear what is comfortable for a long day of work. Dealing with suppliers takes up most of our time. We like being part of this local market. It feels like home after all these years. People know us by name and we know them. That is how we like to run things.
