Asian Narrow Fabrics Co

We are tucked away in Lower Parel, right near the station. If you know the area, you know how hectic it gets when the trains pull in. Asian Narrow Fabrics Co has been in this neighborhood for a long time. The space is not very big, but it holds everything we need to keep the business running. We deal with fabrics every day, mostly the narrow stuff that people need for all sorts of projects. It is a lot of rolling and unrolling material. The noise from the station is something you just stop hearing after a few weeks. It is like background music for us now. We have rolls of fabric stacked up pretty high because we try to keep a good variety on hand for whoever stops by. It is dusty work sometimes. We spend a lot of time checking orders and making sure the counts are right. People often pop in because they saw our sign while walking to the platform. It is a handy location for that. We do not have a website that is updated every minute or anything like that. We mostly talk to people face to face or on the phone. The floor is concrete and the light flickers sometimes, but it is our space. It is a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
