Our place is located in Ramkrishna Nagar, over in the Khar area of Mumbai. You can find us at 11 126, which is basically a spot where we handle all things related to motor works. Being in Mumbai, it’s always a bit loud and crowded outside, but once you step inside the workshop, the smell of oil and the sound of metal dominate everything. We’ve been operating out of this specific location for years. It isn’t a high-end showroom with marble floors and fancy lighting. It’s a working garage. There are usually parts scattered on the benches and a couple of vehicles in various stages of being fixed up. The guys working here have grease on their uniforms and probably on their hands most of the day. We get a lot of local traffic because people in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a small team, so we all know each other’s names and how we like our tea brought in from the stall down the road. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult during the monsoon, and we have to move equipment around to stay dry, but that’s just how it is in Khar. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the machines in front of us. If you come by, you’ll likely see us busy under a hood or checking tires. It’s honest, hard work that keeps us going every day from morning till evening. It is what it is.
