Asia International

Our place, Asia International, is located at B-26 in Amanpuri, right off the Najafgarh Road in Nangloi. If you know that area, you know how much traffic there is with all the buses and trucks constantly moving. Our building is right in the middle of all that action. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the horns honking outside all day long. We do a lot of trading and moving products from one place to another. It’s a lot of physical work, loading and unloading stuff from the back of vans. The floor in our warehouse area is a bit uneven and we have to be careful when we’re moving the heavy pallets around. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We’re just a group of people who come in every morning, drink some tea, and start checking the inventory. Some days are slow and we spend time tidying up the shelves, and other days we don't even have time to sit down for a minute. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy to get around to it. We know the other business owners on the block and we help each other out when someone needs a tool or a bit of extra space. It’s a tough environment sometimes, especially when it’s dusty outside, but we’ve been here a long time.
