Ashtech India Pvt. Ltd. is located on the 9th floor of the Ashford Centre, right across from Peninsula Corporate Park in Lower Parel. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets, especially in the mornings. Being on the 9th floor gives us a bit of a break from the street noise, though you can still hear the city hum. We handle a lot of technical and construction-related materials. The office is usually a bit cluttered with samples and technical manuals. We aren't the type of place with a sleek, minimalist look. It’s a working office where people are actually doing things. We spend a lot of time talking to engineers and project managers who need specific stuff for their sites. Lower Parel has changed a lot, with all these new buildings coming up, but we just stick to our routine. Sometimes the elevators are slow, and that’s when we catch up with neighbors from other floors. We don't use much jargon or try to sound bigger than we are. We just provide what is needed and try to keep the supply chain moving. It’s a lot of logistics and checking specifications. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it from this same spot for quite a while now. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know how to handle the busy seasons without much fuss.
