Ashoka Iron Industries

Ashoka Iron Industries has been tucked away in the Bharat Coal Compound for a long time. If you know Bail Bazar, you know it’s a crowded place. Our spot on Kale Marg is usually full of the sound of metal moving around. It’s a dusty job, and your hands never stay clean for long when you’re working with iron. We spend our days managing stock and talking to drivers who come in and out of the compound. It’s not a quiet office job. There is always someone shouting over the noise of a truck or a machine. We started small and just kept at it because there’s always a need for iron. The heat in the summer makes the shed feel like an oven, but we just get on with it. We don't have any fancy reception area or a glossy brochure to show people. Usually, you’ll find us in the back checking the weights or looking over the latest load. It’s honest work that leaves you tired at the end of the shift. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the iron business stays pretty much the same. You buy it, you move it, you sell it. We don’t bother with big promises. If we have what you need in the compound, we’ll get it loaded up. That’s just how we do things here. It’s noisy and messy, but it’s our daily life.
