Our office is situated in Ashok Garden. It’s a decent spot with a bit of greenery around, which is a nice change of pace. We focus on the import side of things for the Dinex Group here in India. That means we spend a lot of time dealing with customs forms, shipping schedules, and tracking containers. It can get pretty stressful when a shipment is delayed at the port, but that’s just part of the business. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we know how to help each other out when things get busy. The office is usually full of papers and samples of things we are bringing in. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. We mostly communicate through email and phone calls with people all over the world. Sometimes the time zones make it tricky, and we have to stay late to talk to someone in a different country. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up talking about work problems. It’s a straightforward operation. We just try to make sure everything gets from the boat to the warehouse without too many headaches. It’s not always smooth, but we make it work somehow. We are just a group of people trying to manage the logistics as best as we can without making things too complicated.
