Our office is 213, Laxmi Plaza, which is part of the Laxmi Industrial Estate on New Link Road in Andheri(W). If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic Andheri(W) can be. Ashish Life Science Pvt Ltd is right in the thick of it. The New Link Road is always packed with cars and people, but once you get inside Laxmi Plaza, it settles down a little. We are up on the second floor. It’s a typical office space. We have desks, computers, and a lot of files. The industrial estate has a lot of different businesses, so there is always people moving around in the hallways. We don't have a big lobby or a fountain or anything. It’s just a place where we come to work. We spend our time talking to suppliers and checking on shipments. Because it’s an industrial estate, things are built for utility, not for looking pretty. We like the location because it’s easy for people to find us, even if the traffic is bad. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or polished. We are just a group of people working in the science field, trying to keep up with everything. The air conditioning is always running because Andheri is humid. We’ve been at this address for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. But inside 213, it’s mostly just the same daily routine.
