Ashish Industries is tucked away in the S.P. Sheds near Byculla Station Road. If you know the Mominpura area in Byculla West, you know it’s a place that never really stops moving. We have units 107 and 109, where we do all our industrial work. Being so close to the station means there is always noise from the trains and people rushing back and forth. It’s a gritty, hardworking neighborhood. Our sheds are filled with tools and raw materials. It isn't the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We are usually in our work clothes, dealing with the heat and the machines. We’ve been here for years, and the walls show it. There is grease and dust, which is just part of the job. We make things for other businesses mostly. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for decades. We talk to our customers plainly. If something can be done, we say so. If not, we don't make false promises. The guys working here are local, and we all just want to get through the day's production list. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the rain leaks through a bit, but we fix it and keep going. That’s just life in an industrial shed in Byculla. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. We appreciate the simple routine. It keeps us going every single morning.
