We are located over at H-139 in the Ansa Industrial Estate, right off Saki Vihar Road in Saki Naka. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and there is always something going on outside our doors. Ashay Machines Pvt. Ltd. is basically a bunch of us who really know our way around mechanical equipment. Our workspace is filled with parts, grease, and the smell of oil. We spend the day assembling machines or fixing things that have stopped working. It’s not a quiet place; there is usually the sound of a drill or a grinder going somewhere in the back. We don't have any fancy sales brochures or a marketing team. Most of our work comes from word of mouth around the industrial estate. People know we’re here and they know we can handle the technical stuff. Sometimes the shop gets a bit disorganized when we have three different projects going at once, but we always find what we need eventually. We’ve been at Saki Naka for quite some time now and we’ve seen the traffic get worse and worse, but we’re happy with our spot. It’s a solid place to work and we get along well. We just focus on the machines and making sure they do what they’re supposed to do. It’s regular, honest work for all of us here, and we plan to keep it that way.
