ASCOM SYSTEMS is located in the Amruddin Industrial Estate, specifically at A-14 on the terrace level. We are right across from Navjyot Estate in Andheri East, near Safed Pool. Being on the terrace means we have a bit more space and air than the units downstairs. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we have our fans going. The industrial estate is a noisy place with a lot of trucks and workers moving things all day. We fit right in with that. Our office is full of systems and hardware piled up on shelves. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but we don't mind the exercise. Safed Pool is a busy junction, so there is always something happening outside. We spend our hours testing equipment and talking to clients on the phone. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. We have old desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. We like the grit of Andheri East. It’s a place where people actually get things done. Sometimes we have our lunch out on the terrace if the weather is okay. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall knows our order by heart. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of the technical stuff without making things too complicated for ourselves or anyone else. We have a simple life, and we don't really want for much else.
