We operate out of the Jagdamba Co-Operative Housing Society in Chinchwad, specifically in Building A-2, Flat 208. It might seem a bit unusual to have an international business in a residential building, but it works well for us. Krishnanagar is a decent area in Pune, and being in a flat means it’s a bit quieter than being right on a main commercial road. We’ve set up our desks in the main rooms, and there are files tucked into almost every corner. It’s a very local feel, and the neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going with our bags and papers. Most of our work is done on the computer or over the phone, so we don't need a huge warehouse right here. We spend a lot of time tracking shipments and talking to people in different time zones. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good exercise I guess. The office has a small kitchen where we make tea several times a day to keep us going. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls, just a regular home that we’ve turned into a workspace. We know the security guards and the other residents, so it feels like being part of a community. We just focus on getting our jobs done without much fuss. It's practical and keeps our overheads low while we handle our logistics work.
