Arvindmistry & Associates

Our office is located at 2D, 304 Parasnagar, on Shanker Lane in Kandivali (West). It’s actually inside a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a sterile office. Arvindmistry & Associates is a small team and we spend most of our time hunched over drawings or staring at computer screens. The room is filled with rolls of blueprints and old files that we haven't had the heart to throw away. Shanker Lane is usually pretty busy with people going to and from the station. We can hear the kids playing in the common area of Parasnagar during the evenings. It’s a lived-in space with mismatched chairs and a printer that sometimes acts up when we are in a hurry. We don't have a receptionist, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets up to answer it. It’s a very casual environment where we talk about our families as much as we talk about work. We handle the technical stuff and the drawings for various projects but we try not to make it sound more complicated than it is. We’ve been in Kandivali for years and we know the local shops and where to get the best lunch. It’s a simple way to work and it suits the way we like to live.
